Pickelball Queen
In 1981, after graduating from Valparaiso University, I headed West to the beautiful Colorado rockies in hopes of launching my career and starting a family. It was here in Colorado, where I joined Xerox Corporation and specialized in strategic “sales” accounts for 24 years before launching the Lampard Agency with American Family. I then set out to develop a specialized independent agency, Avalue Insurance, which I founded in 2010.
I am a proud mother of three amazing children who inspire me everyday. I am often reminded when I look into the beautiful skies and climb our majestic mountains that their father is looking over us from heaven.
My passion when not working at Avalue, is helping to move the needle on poverty in Colorado. In 1991, in conjunction with Denver Public Schools and local churches, I founded a tutoring program now called Whiz Kids. In 2020, I started volunteering at Cross Purpose as a weekly Allied to support Leaders to achieve long-term relational, economic, and spiritual success through the Cross Purpose program. Avalue Insurance is currently working with Cross Purpose and PIIAC to develop an insurance career track. Additionally, Avalue is building a business model to develop and train an individual(s) in our agency with the goal to launch them into his/her own independent insurance agency, thereby helping to break generational poverty in their family. If you are a business owner and want to help provide meaningful and sustainable careers to a Cross Purpose leader, please contact Sarah at Avalue Insurance for further information.
